Quote requests

When you submit a request, we process the information you provide — name, email, phone number and, where applicable, company, event type and date, venue, audience size, requested services and message — to review and answer your request and prepare a proposal. The legal basis is taking steps at your request before entering into a contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR); consent is not required for this processing.

Your request is sent by email to the TEKSOUND team. Form fields are validated and length-limited. Do not include sensitive personal data that is not needed for your request.

Abuse prevention

On the static form, the server uses a one-way hash derived from the IP address and records submission times to limit spam. The limit is five requests per IP address in a 15-minute period. This protects the form's security and availability; the legal basis is TEKSOUND's legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). The IP address is not included in the quote email. The actual lifespan of these technical files depends on cleanup of the server's temporary storage.

Local storage

This site stores the selected theme (light, dark or automatic) and, when you use that feature, the quote list in your browser's local storage (localStorage), without sending these values to TEKSOUND. You can remove them in your browser settings. This is local storage, not advertising cookies.

Recipients and retention

Quote data is accessible to the team handling the enquiry and may be processed by technical hosting and email providers as needed to operate the site and deliver the message. Data is kept for as long as needed to answer and manage the request and afterwards only for as long as required by legal obligations or to establish and defend legal claims. Abuse-prevention records follow the technical period described above.

Your rights

You may request access, rectification or erasure, restriction of processing and, where applicable, data portability or object to processing by contacting geral@teksound.pt. You may also lodge a complaint with the Portuguese Data Protection Authority (CNPD).
